About the Campaign
The Career Spark Workshop is a career readiness workshop is a comprehensive program to help unemployed and underemployed women of color advance their careers. The workshop focuses on essential components, such as discovering one’s purpose, taking a skills test, resume development, interview preparation, and career search strategies. By providing participants with a complete set of tools and knowledge, women of color will have a better chance of succeeding in their chosen careers. The program is designed to help participants identify their strengths and weaknesses, allowing them to leverage their strengths to their advantage while improving areas of weakness. The program is also designed to provide participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in a competitive job market. By providing practical training in resume development, interview preparation, and career search strategies, women of color will be better equipped to succeed in their chosen fields.
The program also helps participants overcome obstacles that may be holding them back from success. By offering a supportive environment and a network of peers and mentors, women of color will have the resources they need to overcome barriers and achieve their career goals.
